Viswanadha Foundation
Guidelines for Support

The Foundation intends to support individual students in any kind of learning that earns livelihood or academic distinction, with provision of financial assistance where the said students are not in a position to pursue their learning / education in the absence of such financial assistance. The assistance may cover the expenses in the educational institutions, and their individual maintenance, for the period until they complete their study and qualify in the Course they pursue at the moment. Whenever the said students earn scholarships, free-ships or other grants for pursuit of the Course concerned, the Foundation ceases to support them.

Similarly, the Foundation seeks to provide financial support to individuals or groups of individuals needing medical relief, which the individuals or the groups are not able to provide for themselves either on their own or from other sources, and in the absence of which they stand to suffer irretrievably. The Foundation may provide financial assistance to meet the exigencies of the situation either in full or in part, or for the whole or part of the period when the medical relief is sought to be sustained.

The Foundation seeks to render financial assistance to men of Vedic learning, letters or arts who are in indigent circumstances and who do not have any sources of support for reasonable living. The assistance may be for one time or on a monthly basis for such period as the Foundation considers it necessary in the particular circumstances of each individual, and consistent with its resources.

The Foundation intends to support service institutions, organizations, societies, etc that cater to the needs of less-fortunate people in our society. These institutions include Homes for the Aged, the Destitute Children & Women, the Differently-abled, the Orphanages, Short-stay Homes of hapless women, etc. The Foundation supports such of the institutions, organizations, etc that are in need of financial assistance in the absence of which they will not be able to continue to run the said institutions or organizations, and whose functioning is in the bonafide interest of the beneficiaries of the said institutions. When the institutions / organizations, etc are otherwise able to raise resources either in full or in part, the Foundation ceases to support them, or reduces its level of support, depending upon its assessment of the situation.

The Foundation also intends to support institutions, organizations, etc that help create skills for those enrolled with them with a view to eking out livelihood, by way of providing basic infrastructure and financial support for such skills-acquisition or up-gradation.

The Foundation intends to be a catalyst to individuals and / or institutions to help prosecute higher learning / education, skills-acquisition / up-gradation, etc besides providing succour to hapless children, women, differently-abled and the aged.

The Foundation acts within the limits of its financial resources. An application made by an individual, institution, organization, etc to the Foundation for support confers no right whatsoever on the applicant for consideration of the request of the individual or the institution concerned. Further there confers no right on any individual or institution for continuance of such support beyond what is initially and expressly provided by the Foundation on its own freewill and at its discretion.
