Sri Rudram

Sri Rudram contains Namakam, Chamakam, Manyu Suktam, Purusha Suktam, Sri Suktam and Mantra Pushpam along with Laghunyasam from Krishna Yajurveda.

Rigveda

Rigveda is called the Prathama Veda. It is considered one of the greatest resources of spiritual knowledge for mankind, and holds an important position amongst all the Veda-sakhas. Rigveda comprises Saakala sakha, and mainly deals with the hymns in praise of various gods and deities like Vishnu, Shiva, Indra, Varuna, Agni, etc. Rigveda is generally chanted in eleven modes, namely, Samhita, Pada, Krama, Jata, Mala, Sikha, Rekha, Dhwaja, Danda, Ratha and Ghana.

Here we present the chanting of the first two Adhyayas in all the eleven modes in a representative manner.

Following it, we present the Samhitapatha of the entire Saakala-sakha, which is open to listen and not to download.

Krishna Yajurveda

Yajurveda mainly deals with performance of different Yagas like Soma-yaga, Rajasuya-yaga, Aswamedha-yaga, etc. It is again split into two major parts known as Krishna Yajurveda and Sukla Yajurveda.

Krishna Yajurveda comprises Taittiriya-sakha and Maitrayani-sakha. Maitrayani-sakha is a new find. There are only a very few Vedic scholars who are in the know of this sakha. This sakha has only Samhita and Aranyakam.

Here we present five modes of chanting, namely, Samhita, Pada, Krama, Jata and Ghana of Kanda 1 of Taittiriya-sakha.

Following it, we present the entire Samhitapatha of Taittiriya-sakha including Ashtaka, Kataka and Aranyaka prasnas, which is open to listen and not to download.

We also present the entire text of Samhita & Aranyaka of Maitrayani-sakha in Samhita mode. We are working through a group of scholars to construct Pada and Krama pathas for Maitrayani sakha, and upload on to the portal. Thereafter, we intend to get Jata and Ghana pathas also to be constructed for the sakha.

Sukla Yajurveda

Sukla Yajurveda comprises Madhyandina & Kanva sakhas. Madhyandina-sakha is chanted in three modes of Prakrti and eight modes of Vikrti as in the case of Saakala sakha. Kanva sakha is chanted in five modes as in the case of Taittiriya sakha.

Both the Madhyandina & Kanva sakhas are chanted by scores of Vedic scholars.

The Satapatha Brahmanam forming part of Sukla Yajurveda is a very important Brahmanam.

We present here Samhita mode of chanting of Madhyandina-sakha of the first 27 Adhyayas, Adhyayas 1-3 of Kanva-sakha, some important Suktas and also Isa Upanisad.

We also present the Samhitapatha of the entire Kanva Samhita, Karma, and Kramakareega texts of the sakha, which is open to listen and not to download.

We also present the entire Satapatha Brahmanam running for about 50 hours.

Samaveda

Samaveda consists of several Veda sakhas of which Raanaayana, Kouthama and Jaimini are alone existent today in the country. Samaveda sakhas are melodious for chanting. Bulk of the mantras in these sakhas is from Saakala-sakha of Rigveda. But the notation of chanting is totally different. Sri Krishna in Bhagavad-Gita identifies Himself with Samaveda in view of its melody in chanting.

We present here Raanaayana, Kouthama & Jaimini sakhas extensively focusing on the varied modes in which Samaveda sakhas are chanted.

We also present the Samhitapatha of the Kouthama-sakha in all aspects and in full, which is open to listen and not to download.

Atharvaveda

Atharvaveda comprises Sounaka and Pippalada sakhas. The Pippalada sakha is a new find.

Of Sounaka sakha, we present Samhita patha of Kanda 1 preceded by Prarthana.

Of Pippalada sakha, we present the Samhitapatha in full, though very recently structured.

We also present the entire text of Sounaka-sakha in Samhitapatha which is open to listen, and not to download.

We are working through a group of scholars to construct Pada and Krama pathas for Sounaka & Pippalada sakhas, and upload on to the portal. Thereafter, we intend to get Jata and Ghana pathas also to be constructed for these sakhas.
