The portal presents an introduction to Vedic Mathematics in a book titled 'Vedic Mathematics - Methods' for the benefit of students in secondary schools around the world. It seeks to present an integrated approach to learning mathematics with keenness of observation and inquisitiveness, avoiding the monotony of accepting theories and working from them mechanically. The logical proof of the sutras is detailed in algebra, which eliminates the misconception that the sutras are a jugglery. The explanations offered make the processes clear to the learners.
There are also research papers on topics such as Theory Behind Mathematics, Determination of 1/0 and Conceptual Mathematics-Paninian Frame work. More will be added.
There are on the module four volumes of Lecture Notes on different aspects of Vedic Mathematics by Prof. C. Santhamma for higher and deeper understanding of Vedic Mathematics. Another feature of the audio module is the musical presentation of Tattva-sudha in two items. The first item is titled Tattva-sudha consisting of 54 Tattvas, split into six groups of nine each, compiled from the teachings of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, in Telugu, set to musical composition in Navaragamalika. The second item is titled Vemana Padya Suktulu consisting of 57 poems by Yogi Vemana in Telugu, portraying the essence of his ethical and spiritual philosophy.
On view is a short film titled Creation based on the hymns of Rig-Veda.
'Features' is another module on the portal. It carries articles on Vedic literature, aphorisms and discourses of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai, etc. One very illuminating feature is the 'Experience of the Divinity of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai' by devotees around the world. It is a direct account in the words of the devotees themselves as to the manner of their experience of the Divinity of Bhagavan. It is an ever-expanding feature adding on to the 'Experience of the Divinity of Bhagavan' by the individual devotees.
Devotees of Bhagavan have been experiencing His Divinity in an extraordinary way at Vijaya Sathya Sai Mandiram, Anand Bagh, Malkajgiri, Secunderabad for several months now. A video film for about forty-three minutes in multimedia as to the manifestations and miracles that occurred at the Mandiram, in a selective way, is on display on the portal. It is open to download, too. The contents of the video film are only representative, and not exhaustive. The manifestations and miracles are continuing phenomena.
The purpose of the portal is primarily to bring the Vedic literature both in print, manuscript and in chanting to one place with access to all. Incidentally, there have been several Sanskrit Universities in India, and, as of now, there is no functional Veda University as such. Sri Venkateswara Veda University to be located at Tirupati has just been enacted. It is yet to be accredited to the UGC and to start functioning. It is our objective and endeavour that this portal may, in due course, convert itself into a Virtual Veda University, which may serve complementary to Sri Venkateswara Veda University, each having its own distinct functions to promote Vedic learning and research at very high level. A project profile of the Virtual Veda University is on the module Virtual University.
An interactive facility to the visitors to the portal is in place. The visitors to the portal are welcome to seek astrological predictions, clarifications, elaboration of the contents of the portal for better understanding, and to make suggestions for further improvements.
Our scholars and experts will consider it a privilege and honour to be of help to the visitors to the portal for clarifying any doubts or explaining any issues on any of the modules. This is primarily to enable the lovers of Veda and Sanskrit to learn and thereby attain to spiritual enlightenment.
