Dr. (Mrs.) K. Sarada,
Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning,
Reader in Bio-Sciences
Anantapur Campus.

Dr. (Mrs.) K. Sarada is, presently, the Reader in the Department of Bio-Sciences in the SSSIHL, Anantapur Campus. She has had several experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan. She narrates a few of them in her own words.

'My husband, a simple man, suffered a paralytic stroke on the 15th of September 1996. This perturbed me a lot. Sensing my pitiable condition, my colleagues brought me to the presence of Bhagavan. Love knows no fear. Swami accepted my prayers and assured me that my husband would regain his lost health. 'Bangaru! Bhayapadavaddu. Nee venta, janta ne vunnanu (Dear one, don't fear. I am always with you).' My husband became well within three days and started walking. I can only offer my heartfelt gratitude for all that He has done for me by serving Him. Thus, Sai's love ever flows.

Once my mother suffered a massive heart attack and doctors advised her total bed rest. As usual, doctors prescribed a heavy dose of medicines to be administered periodically. However, on that particular night, Bhagavan Sai appeared before her, patted her, and blessed her. My brothers and sister, all being doctors had insisted that she take the prescribed medicines. But my mother declined to take any medicine, and became hale and healthy. Thus, Swami saved my mother without any further problems. This was her first experience with the living form of Bhagavan and she became an ardent devotee from that day onwards.

My brother, a final year medical student, was unable to study and appear in the final year examinations due to nasal allergy. This in turn caused a lot of stress and strain in the entire happily well-knit family. During this period, one night, beloved Swami appeared before my mother, and assured her that her son would write the examinations and get useful employment, too. Needless to say, within a couple of days, my brother got well and appeared for the examinations, and became a successful doctor.

Once during the Annual Sports and Cultural Meet, our Principal envisioned hoisting a Dharma Chakra which would rise up to a height of 30 feet, and from there it would rotate symbolizing Dharma. This was only an idea, but there were no concrete steps to achieve it. However, a local artisan assured us that this could be done. Based on the assurance, other programs were planned. The artisan made most of the parts, but failed in the final phase. The Principal and other members were worried as most of the other programmes were dependent on it. My husband, seeing our anxiety, literally did not sleep that particular night. He prayed to Swami to grant us the strength to tide over that difficult period. Surprisingly, my brother came there the next morning and after discussion with our Principal helped the artisan to make corrections in the venture. Though all of us were tense and anxious, my husband's prayers and my team members' firm belief in Bhagavan suffused me with a sense of hope and optimism. Swami gave new life and vigour to the wearied team. Thus, we set out once more with firm strides and achieved the impossible; it was a miracle.'
