Mr. B. Appa Rao (48), a businessman, relates an experience of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

'One elder of our village, who is a Sai devotee, advised me to join Sri Sathya Sai Samithi and participate in seva. I agreed. I had my photograph taken and joined as a member with an identity card a few months ago.

After I became a member, I was travelling in an auto-rickshaw in October 2005. A lorry was going in front of us. Our auto-driver tried to overtake it, and hit the lorry in the process. I thought it was the end of my life. But owing to Swami's grace, I escaped with some minor injuries on my head.

'After you joined Swami's fold' one devotee told me, 'He saved your life'.

I came for seva this November to Prasanthi Nilayam. This is my first visit. I had darshan of Bhagavan for the first time. Owing to His grace, my business, which was dull earlier, has improved a lot now.'
