Mr. C. Mallikarjuna Rao (43), a businessman, narrates his experience of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

'My brother-in-law, who is in the USA, had wanted to construct a house in India. I accepted to supervise the work. In that connection, he was to send some heavy amount to me. Generally, he is prompt, but this time his payment was delayed by a week.

'I am sending the DD by courier to reach you on Friday, the 23rd July, 2004'; he telephoned me, 'you can draw it on July 24'.

But the courier did not arrive while I was in Chennai. I left for Bangalore telling Mr. Vasu, my relative to deposit the DD in my account in the Global Trust Bank on receipt by courier. When I was in Bangalore, I learnt that the Global Trust Bank was being closed. So I telephoned at once to Mr. Vasu to tell him not to deposit it in the GTB lest the amount should get locked up in a Bank facing a debacle. But Mr. Vasu was not available. I left a message for him to ring me back immediately. I began praying to Bhagavan to save the money.

Later, I learnt that the DD through the courier was received a little late on July 24. My man rushed to the Bank with it, but was delayed by 15 minutes en-route to do some work. By the time he went to the Bank, they told him, 'the Bank was closed 15 minutes back owing to RBI's instructions'. The DD, fortunately, was not deposited. The money was saved owing to Swami's grace.

Had my brother-in-law promptly sent the DD a week back, or, had the courier delivered it in the morning, or had my man not stopped en-route to attend to some errand, the money would have not been available for me. It is His grace that saved it.'
