Mr. Jithendra Vansia (39), transport operator, relates a few of his experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

'I heard of Bhagavan in 1996 from a friend. The same year I came for Seva to Prasanthi Nilayam. That was my first visit to this place. I had darshan of Swami for the first time then. We had padanamaskar at the end of our seva.

In 1998, I came here for Diwali and had darshan again. From here, we all went to Bangalore for sight seeing. We were a group of 25. Our train, Bangalore to Ahmedabad express, for our return, was scheduled to leave at 9 p.m. But the laundryman did not bring our clothes. Train time was nearing. I asked all others including my family to leave for the station. I stayed behind to collect clothes from laundry. I collected clothes and began to walk to the station as it was very near from our lodge. One the way I found my wife and kids. They missed the group and did not know where to go. I wanted earlier to go by auto-rickshaw with the clothes, but my friend who stayed behind with me said that there was no need as the station is at a walk-able distance. Had I engaged an auto-rickshaw, I would have missed them. Had I not met them it would have been difficult for them to reach the station.

'What happened?' I asked.

'Our auto-rickshaw had a breakdown' my wife replied, 'other auto-rickshaws pushed ahead. Our auto-driver left us on the road and pushed his auto to a workshop. We were stranded. By Bhagavan's grace, you came along.'

In June, 1998, I came to Prasanthi Nilayam for seva. Swami was giving us padanamaskar at the end of the seva period. He stood before me and materialized vibhuti and gave me. He did not give vibhuti like that to anyone in the group. We were 18. I gave a little vibhuti to all of them. Now our group coming for seva has swelled to 250. 'You gave us Swami's vibhuti to all 18 then' our colleagues say, 'see how our group is swelling every year!'

I came for seva in 1999. I was the group leader. A babe of two months old was left in the lawns near Ganesh temple. One of our sevadal group saw the child and took the child to the General Hospital. They said 'go to the police and report'. He went to the police. 'First get the child treated by doctors' the police said, 'the child is ill.' He went back to the hospital. All this went on for nearly three hours. We reported all this to security officers permanently residing at Prasanthi Nilayam. 'These things happen' they remarked, but did not tell us what to do. Finally, Mr. Tailor handed over the child in the hospital after convincing them.

At the end of the seva period, we all sat in line for padanamaskar of Bhagavan. Swami went direct to Mr. Navin Tailor, materialised vibhuti and gave him. Then Bhagavan placed His hand on Mr. Navin's head, kept it like that for a few seconds and blessed. We felt happy that Mr. Navin's perseverance in protecting the abandoned child had pleased Swami.

In 2000, I came for seva. One of the sevadal in our group was a new comer of just 18. He was given duty in Sai Kulwanth Hall. This boy used to doze off often. I used to go to him and wake him up. At the end of the seva period, we sat for padanamaskar in a line. Swami came along giving padanamaskar and prasadam. When He came to this boy, He looked at Him smiling. 'Sleeping during seva' Swami remarked, 'but ready for padanamaskar!' Swami, however, allowed him to take padanamaskar and prasadam out of His abundant love.'
