Mr. K.V. Ramana Raju (49), Ex-army-person and convenor, local Sri Sathya Sai Bhajan Mandal, relates a few of his experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

‘In 1972, I came to Prasanthi Nilayam and from there went to Brindavan. I had the good fortune witnessing Sai Gita (Swami’s pet elephant) garlanding Swami. I also had the opportunity to listen to the Divine Discourse of Bhagavan.

In 1994, when we were in Pathankota, amritam came from the photograph of Swami in our residence.

I started constructing Swami’s mandir at my native place on my own, and could complete it by 1998.

In 1999, a splinter hit me in the leg while I was participating in the Kargil war. I was advised 6 weeks rest. I was having bandage on my leg and could not move it due to pain. In the night I had a dream. Swami came to my bed in the dream and lay by my side on the bed. I saw in the dream that Swami was wearing my bandage on His leg. The dream ended. After that I had no pain. When the x-ray was taken, the bone set so perfectly that the doctor himself was amazed. After that I have had no problem with my leg or general health.

I retired from the Army in 2001. We conducted a medical camp in August 2004. One day before the day on which the camp was to start, the garland put to the photograph of Swami in Swami’s mandir lengthened on its own to an incredible length of 72 inches from its original size of 30 inches - more than doubled.

In January 2002, I came to Prasanthi Nilayam to help in the Annual Sports and Cultural Meet. On January 12, after the completion of the Sports Meet, Swami materialized a ring for me when He gave a group interview to the staff that participated in the Sports Meet. He put it Himself on my finger.’
