      Mr. M.S.R. Murthy (58), an employee of the ECIL, Hyderabad, relates a few of his experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

'When I was a student in West Godavari in 1960s, I happened to hear about Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, but could have His darshan only in about 1973 at Sivam, Hyderabad for the first time.

In 1990, I came to Prasanthi Nilayam for Gurupoornima along with a group. We tried to have separate darshan of Swami but it was not possible. However, unexpectedly, Bhagavan came where we were all sitting. We could have excellent darshan. Bhagavan materialized vibhuti which we all partook.

In the same year, I saw an ad in the press for blood donation. I had not given blood till that time. The blood group required tallied with mine. So I volunteered to donate blood. Donating blood gave me an exhilarating experience. By the grace of Bhagavan, I found that the environment at home, office and society was becoming more and more favourable.

Once I came to Prasanthi Nilayam. When our bus was coming, we had darshan of Bhagavan at the place where the SSSIHMS stands now. Bhagavan laid foundation to that Temple of Healing that day. The same day we had the good fortune to listen to His Divine Discourse 'We laid the foundation stone for Rs. 100 crore SSSIHMS at Puttaparthi. We will give treatment including surgery to all free of charge.' Bhagavan announced that day 'the Hospital will start functioning exactly a year from now, that is, on November 22 next year!' I was thrilled to listen to such wonderful announcement. And it all happened exactly as Bhagavan had announced.

In 2001, I was facing certain unhappy developments in office. I prayed to Bhagavan to come to my rescue. Bhagavan came into my dream and blessed me. After that, the tensions in the office gradually eased out.

Once one of my colleagues in Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi requested me to come to his house to pick up a complimentary copy of a book he was distributing free to devotees on worshipping Bhagavan. I went to his house because of his insistence. He introduced me there to his son-in-law who was working in a leading pharmaceutical Company. By Bhagavan's grace, his son-in-law, whom I had met by chance there, was instrumental to get a job for my daughter in his Company after a few months.'
