Mr. M. Yadavendra Rao (62), who retired from the Postal Department, relates an experience of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

'This happened in 1980s. I constructed a house of my own in those days. Though I planned to raise one more floor, it did not materialise still at that time. So we left it as open terrace.

One day, I was coming from night duty. I got down at the bus stop and was walking to my house. When I turned the corner towards my house, I was stunned to see Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba standing on the terrace above the portico, holding on the parapet wall and looking at me as if He was waiting for me. Even though it was night, I could see Him clearly as if He was standing on a well-lit dias. I stood in the bazaar, lifted my hands up and did namaskar. This was not a dream or a vision. Swami was there on my house physically looking at me. After a couple of minutes, He disappeared.

After that, I could raise the first floor on my house. It so happened that Sri Sathya Sai Samithi of our area had no place for it. I offered my first floor to them. Samithi has been functioning in my house. Bhagavan's appearance enabled me to raise the floor.'
