      Mr. P.V.S. Prakasa Rao (65), a devotee of Bhagavan, relates a few of his experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

'I had darshan of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba at the place where Sivam was built later at Hyderabad. It was in 1970-71.

We had been to Los Angeles in 1984. On June 17 (It was June 18 in India, incidentally our wedding anniversary) we went to the house of Dr. Narendranath Reddy and saw the life size photograph of Bhagavan. We felt that we were brought there only to have darshan of Swami in the form of photograph and receive blessings on our wedding anniversary. I was overwhelmed by emotion for the grace and compassion of Swami.

We later went to San Francisco on June 20, 1984. It was June 21 in India, my birthday. We were taken to Mr. Krishna Reddy's (brother of Dr. Narendranath Reddy) house where we had the good fortune to participate in bhajan with the family members of Mr. Reddy. Again Swami's grace on us on my birthday!

We came to Prasanthi Nilayam in February 1985.for Sivarathri. My mother, my wife and children came with me. We all had good darshan of Bhagavan and also the good fortune to listen to the Divine Discourse.

On August 5, 1985, I was about to leave my office room in Eenadu at Hyderabad. Suddenly I was blessed with the darshan of Bhagavan in midget form. I also had a feeling of being in two different planes at the same time which could be described as dual consciousness. At that time, I was talking with my colleague, Mr. Murthy, myself preparing to leave office, and simultaneously I was face to face with Bhagavan in midget form.

I dedicated myself to Bhagavan at Sivam on July 29, 1990. On August 7 or 8, 1990, I ran into Sri Bhattam Srirama Murthy; he gave me a photograph of Swami with a packet of vibhuti.

I went for seva to Prasanthi Nilayam in October 1990. Incidentally it was the Golden Jubilee Year of the Declaration of Avatar by Bhagavan. Bhagavan blessed us all with padanamaskar. On November 1, 1990 Bhagavan took a letter from me.

My son Srinivas returned on December 12, 1990 from the USA. That night, I had a dream while I was asleep in my house. Bhagavan appeared and gave me padanamaskar in the dream.

We went to Prasanthi Nilayam for the Christmas in December 1990. We had darshan on the 25th and also on the 26th.

After the marriage of our son Srinivas, we returned to our house in Hyderabad on January 29, 1991. That night, at about midnight, all of us felt an indescribable bliss. We hardly had a wink of sleep that night, but none felt any tiresomeness or sleeplessness the next morning.

On September 4, 1991, Bhagavan's padukas were brought to my house, and we held bhajan and gave arati.

On October 16, 1991, I had a dream in which Bhagavan blessed me with a grand celestial spectacle or pageant.

On November 29, 1991, I was in darshan line with the wedding card of my daughter Bhanu. Bhagavan looked into my eyes piercingly. 'Swami' I said 'wedding invitation', and handed over the card to Bhagavan. Then we had eye-to-eye contact. Even now I feel that bliss whenever I remember it.

I went to Brindavan on June 20, 1992. We had darshan of Bhagavan. That night Bhagavan appeared in my dream. Incidentally it was my birthday.

In August 1992, we were going to Mysore. On our way we halted at Bangalore and had darshan of Bhagavan.

Bhagavan came to Hyderabad in August 1992. We had darshan daily from the 27th to the 30th at Sivam. On the last day, we had eye-to-eye contact with Bhagavan. That day my wife was admitted in the hospital. On September 25, 1992, Bhagavan appeared in my dream. 'Dr. Suryaprakasa Rao' Bhagavan called and asked me in the dream, 'are you practising medicine?'

On the 29th night in December 1999, Bhagavan appeared in my dream.

In April - May 2000, I was suffering from fever. I was running 104 degrees temperature. Suddenly I had a feeling 'I am completely healthy'. I got up saying aloud 'I am completely healthy.' And, indeed, I became completely healthy owing to His grace.

I came to Prasanthi Nilayam in September 2000. Bhagavan received an envelope from my hand in which were documents relating to my patents. I had darshan daily from September 18 to 21. On September 21, I went for Omkaram when I had darshan of Bhagavan as Vishnu with four hands carrying the wheel and conch. When we were returning by train, I felt that a message came from Bhagavan intuitionally, 'I love thy work.'

On the forenoon of December 29, 2000, I fell ill. My BP and pulse were down. I was sinking suddenly. Immediately, they took vibhuti from the pooja before the Bhagavan's photograph and applied on to me. They sprinkled cold water on my face. I became normal without any treatment or medicine, owing to Bhagavan's grace.

In 2001, we went to Prasanthi Nilayam in June. On June 18, that is our wedding day, I was asleep. Some one removed the bed sheet covering my face and woke me up. When I woke up, there was none. But I experienced fine fragrance for sometime. Again on June 21, 2001, that is, my birthday, the same fragrance engulfed me.

We visited Prasanthi Nilayam for Sivarathri in March 2002, again in June 2002, and in February 2003, and had darshan of Bhagavan.

On May 26, 2003, my wife, Mrs. Durga was admitted in the Care Hospital with a brain stroke. When we were in the hospital, several incidents happened to show that Bhagavan was with us protecting us. That night Bhagavan came in my dream. He was in a very happy mood and appeared in good health. My wife was discharged in good health later.

My wife was seriously ill again on June 23, 2003. Her blood sugar was down. She was admitted in the hospital. Again Bhagavan made us witness His leelas in several ways. My wife was discharged from the hospital on June 27.

On December 5, 2005, Bhagavan appeared in my dream and said 'see the Indweller!'
