Ms. Aditi Kapoor, a student of the first year B.Com. (Hons) of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Anantapur Campus narrates her experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in her own words.

'Bhagavan, in all His mercy, drew our family into His fold during the early seventies. Ever since, He has been guiding and guarding us each moment of our life. Swami blessed my mother to join the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning at Anantapur, as a faculty member. He gave me and my sister the opportunity of being His students from our childhood. When I look back at the past, I find that He has been our only saviour innumerable number of times.

One such occasion is when Bhagavan, the Divine Healer, cured me of a strange ailment. I was born healthy, but, at the age of two, my eyes were affected by a strange disease, which the doctors could not diagnose. The disease caused complete redness and swelling of the eyes. It was so severe that I could not even open my eyes. When Bhagavan granted an interview to my mother, He revealed that my problem was due to an acute deficiency of Vitamin A. He said that it could have resulted in irreversible damage had it not been for His grace. Bhagavan advised my mother to give me an adequate dosage of a viatamin A for a period of one month. After a few days, Bhagavan, in His boundless mercy, enquired about the condition of my eyes and advised her to continue the same medication.

When I had to join the Primary School at Prasanthi Nilayam, the allergy in my eyes had not subsided. Deeply worried, my mother asked Bhagavan 'Swami, how can she be admitted to the school in this condition?' Bhagavan placed His hands over His own eyes and lovingly assured 'everything will be alright'. After I joined the Sri Sathya Sai Primary School, my eyes miraculously became normal.

The problem recurred when I was in the eighth standard. During the practice session of the Sports Meet, the conjunctivae were covered with an opaque white layer. The only remedy to this was the application of steroids which would eventually damage the retina. Once again, my mother prayed to our only refuge - Bhagavan for my health, and asked Him to save my deteriorating eye sight. Sure enough, in a week's time, the opaque layer melted without the use of any steroids and I was cured.'
