Ms. R. Sai Vaishnavi, II B.Sc.,
Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning,
Anantapur Campus.

Ms. R. Sai Vaishnavi, a student of the second year B.Sc. (Hons) of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Anantapur Campus narrates her experience of the Divinity of Bhagavan in her own words.

'It was in my eighth grade that I realized the importance of prayers. My mother was suffering from severe stomach pain. Later it was diagnosed as gall bladder stones owing to excess of calcium deposits. I could not see the suffering of my mother, and suddenly the words of my grand mother flashed in my mind 'whenever problems arise, pray whole-heartedly. He will take care.' I ran immediately to the prayer hall, and prayed whole heartedly to the Lord.

After a few weeks, my parents left for Prasanthi Nilayam to seek Swami's blessings. Meanwhile, at home, I had a dream in which Swami cures my mother by giving her vibhuti. The same thing happened at Prasanthi Nilayam where my parents were seated in the Sai Kulwanth Hall for darshan. Swami graciously went to my father, enquired about my mother's problem and materialized vibhuti. As per His advice, my mother took the vibhuti and returned home.

After a few weeks, she was taken for a follow up check up. To the surprise of all, the stones which could not be broken by any medication broke into pieces and, after getting Swami's consent, the operation was performed. In the operation theatre, there is a large photograph of Swami and my mother felt the presence of the Lord as she was being operated. Thus, by the grace of the Lord, the operation, which was considered to be complicated, was successful.'
