Mr. C. Bhaskara Rao hails from a family of devotees of Bhagavan. He narrates a few of his experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

'I had the good fortune of having Darshan of Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba for the first time in 1981, at the marriage of my brother Mr. C.Karunakara Rao, at Brindavan.

We came to Prasanthi Nilayam for the 70th Birthday of Swami in our TATA Sumo. I was asked to give a lift to the guests who came for the convocation on the 22nd November, to the Stadium grounds on the 23rd morning. As I was taking our TATA Sumo in the early hours of the 23rd, I did not observe, in the darkness, that a person was sleeping under a tree placing his legs on the road. So the front tyre ran over his legs below his knees. He was taken to the medical camp, which was by the side of the road there. On examination, the Doctor was surprised to find that he did not sustain any injury or fracture even though the tyre marks were visible clearly on his legs.

After a couple of hours, he was completely normal, owing to Swami's grace. Even though I was driving vehicles for the last 20 years, I did not have a license. After this incident, I took a license.

During the 70th Birthday Celebrations of Bhagavan, my vehicle was used to transport VIPs and food items. Owing to carrying heavy loads, the differential of the vehicle was damaged. When it was taken to the garage, the mechanic said, 'you are very lucky'.

'Why do you say so?' I asked.

'Today is the last day of warranty on this vehicle. The Company will pay charges on its repairs. Had you come tomorrow, you would have to pay Rs. 40,000.' We thought that it was Swami's grace'
