Mr. P. K. Dhar, retired Assistant Director of Fisheries, relates a few of his experiences of the Divinity of Bhagavan in his own words.

'It was through my brother-in-law that I heard of Bhagavan for the first time in 1978. He gave a photograph of Swami to my wife in around 1980. That is the first time that Bhagavan entered our house in the form of a picture. After the arrival of His picture in our house, there has been perceptible improvement in various fields in my house. I got my promotion and my financial position improved. At first, I was not much interested in Bhagavan and was even critical of Him. Gradually various experiences convinced me of His Divinity.

My brother-in-law used to maintain a pooja room in his house in which he kept many photographs of Bhagavan. Vibhuti, kumkum, haldi, chandan and amrit used to emanate on the photographs. We all used to go and witness the miracles. He gave my wife many photographs of Bhagavan. On his advice, I started wearing a chain with a locket on which Bhagavan's picture is impressed.

I came to Prasanthi Nilayam in 1995 and had darshan of Bhagavan for the first time. The very first darshan impressed me so much that I returned fully convinced of His Divinity.

In Kolkata, I have a friend Mr. Dinesh Sarkar. His daughter was carrying. In due course, she developed labour pains. 'Father!' she told Dinesh, 'I am unable to bear the pains'. Mr. Dinesh did not know what to do. He sat praying to Bhagavan in his room. The poor girl felt that her father was indifferent to her plight and began praying to Swami. One of the ladies attending on her went again to her father and told about his daughter's condition. He gave some vibhuti of Bhagavan, and asked them to put it in her mouth. The lady went in and put vibhuti in the mouth of the girl. No sooner vibhuti was put in her mouth than she delivered the babe normally, to the amazement of all present.

Exactly at the same time, Swami appeared in the vision of Mr. Dinesh and told him, 'your daughter is taken care of'.'
